30 Years of Experience
After around 20 years of permanent employment in the private and public sectors, in 2012, I chose to become independent and have now been working as an independent translator for companies, public authorities and private individuals for over 10 years. Having lived in Bonn, Tokyo, Düsseldorf and Berlin, I am today happy to be located in pretty little Quedlinburg - digitalisation makes it possible.
I mainly work for companies of the private sector. This allows me to draw on a broad range of experience gained in corporate practice. All translations are done by myself and also proofread. As a rule, I translate from foreign languages into my native language, German.
Quality is very important to me. When translating, I use modern CAT tools such as SDL Trados. These tools are not AI or machine translation programs, but efficiency enhancement tools, which ensure consistency in expression and terminology and thus serve to increase quality.
